While you are out on the water enjoying your boating, knowing how to use the VHF radio properly may one day save your life or others. This course is designed to teach you how to use all the functions on your VHF and when to use them. You will also be taught how to transmit messages to another ship or marinas, pan-pan or mayday.
This one day course also requires you to pass an exam at the end, this cost is £70 which is to be paid direct to the RYA for the examination and certification.
Details will be sent upon booking on how to process that payment. There also is pre-course learning which will be sent to you before the course.
