Update on returning to boating at Trafalgar Drystack and boatyard

We have recently received the fantastic news that the guidance now allows you to go boating again! Please see the update from the RYA.

As a result, we are expecting to be very busy so please work with us as we find our feet. We will be following the Government’s recommended guidelines to keep our employees and you safe.

New procedures for your safety

To help us all comply with the government guidelines we are testing the following procedures.

Arriving on site:

• please queue as directed to help ensure physical distancing
• this queuing system will be made clear when you arrive

Drystack customers only – please:

• give us three hours notice on any boat movement in the Drystack in order to help with physical distancing
• wait with your car until your boat has been launched
• do not come on to the pontoons until we ask you to. If you are in doubt then please come to reception to enquire

Hygiene

The team will sanitize and disinfect shared surfaces frequently including the parts of your boat that they have been in contact with. We encourage you to:

• wear facial coverings when you are unable to maintain the 2m distance guideline
• wash / sanitize your hands before arriving and when leaving the site
• wash / sanitize your hands before and after leaving the toilets
• most importantly — please stay at home if you have any of the signs of the virus

We do have contact-less payment facilities on site and ask that you use this facility rather than cash wherever possible.

We are carefully monitoring the situation. The most important thing is to make sure we keep our environment as safe as possible for you and us.
