RYA Day-Skipper Theory

This 5 day course is designed to give you the knowledge to skipper and navigate in unfamiliar waters by day. You will also be introduced to lights for basic night time driving. This course will cover chart work, tidal systems, seamanship, meteorology, collision regulations and much more.

This course is highly recommended for those looking to carry out RYA Intermediate Powerboat and Advanced Powerboat courses.

Course Pre-Requisites

An RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is recommended before taking this course. The minimum age is 12, any under 18s will need a parent or guardian present on the course.
