The dredger was here this week carrying out its annual maintenance to make sure that our channel from the marina and Drystack stays nice and clear and deep. It was a little on the noisy side but it didn’t take them long. It was pretty interesting to watch too.
Did you know that they take the mud they dredge about 16 miles out to sea before opening the bottom of the barge and releasing it near to The Nab Tower. So our channel should now stay clear and deep for another year so you can enjoy going out on your boat.
