About Port Hamble

Situated near the entrance of Southampton Water, the Hamble is home to thousands of boats. The beautiful Hamble village has a heritage of boat building and restoration and has been home for many of the UK’s top sailors. From here you can even take the bright pink Hamble Ferry across the River to visit Warsash and the Rising Sun pub.

Packed with an excellent choice of pubs and waterside restaurants there’s plenty of places to berth on the Hamble too. Starting with Hamble Point Marina near the entrance, Port Hamble, Mercury Marina, and leading to Universal and Swanick Marinas as you explore further upstream.

We will be visiting Port Hamble Marina which is based right in the heart of Hamble Village.
