A delicious trip to Ryde, Isle of Wight and enjoy fish and chips!

Off to Ryde we go, with a few boats here and a bag of chips there, it’s time for a yummy boat trip! We’re heading across to the quirky town of Ryde on the Isle of Wight, where we’ll enjoy fish and chips on the sea wall and hopefully the seagulls will behave themselves and display good manners!

We’ll be departing Trafalgar at 11.30am to arrive in Ryde for 12.30pm. Once we’ve eaten, we’ll look to return at 1.45pm where all persons must return with us due to tidal restrictions at Ryde. You may continue your day on the water once we’ve returned from Ryde.

About Ryde, Isle of Wight

Ryde is a welcoming seaside town on the north east coast of the Isle of Wight. Ryde’s beaches have soft sand and plenty of space particularly at low tide. Even in the height of summer it’s easy to find a perfect spot for you and your family. From early morning dog walkers to photographers capturing the evening sunset going down over the pier, Ryde beaches are perfect to visit all day long. If you’re searching for a relaxing beach experience, with cafes and amenities on hand, Ryde’s your place!

An impressive number of boats come past Ryde’s beaches every day and the Solent is well known as one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world. Visitors throughout the centuries have been seduced by Ryde’s relaxing coastal vibe, why not pop over and take a look for yourself.

Boat Share

You may want to share your boat with other members, which is a great way to meet new people and make new friends, but also you can split the cost
of the fuel and the mooring fees when there are pontoon charges. All you need to do is indicate on the booking app ‘happy to share’ and we’ll arrange
this for you.

Please state on the booking form you wish to join the Ryde Solent Discovery Guided Trip

If you are happy to boat share and split the fuel costs please indicate this on the booking form/app
